A biophysical scientist with over 16 years of experience, Pradeep brings deep expertise across lipid membrane systems, cancer biology, and enzyme engineering. His work focuses on applying high-throughput and ultra-high-throughput platforms to design and optimise enzymes for diverse industrial and biotechnological applications.

Prior to joining Allozymes, Pradeep did his postdoctoral research in the Research Oncology department at Genentech and held roles at Novozymes and Zymergen, where he engineered enzymes for waste remediation, biosynthesis, and biocatalysis — with a career that reflects a strong track record of translating fundamental science into practical, scalable solutions.

Pradeep holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
